Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rapper who is known for his unique style. Baker was originally born in Houston Texas, U.S. on April 22nd 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. Both of his parents were missionaries. in his early years, they traveled extensively along with them. James Colson Baker was depressed and unemployed while Sonia Alane, his mother was divorced from his family when he was only Nine years old. After that, Baker along with his father moved to Denver which was where they resided with his father's aunt. The other kids of the neighborhood bullied Baker for being poor. After he was in sixth grade, Baker was able to study the art of rap. Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly was born on the 22nd of April, 1990, in Texas the U.S. His music is a blend of contemporary hip-hop, alternative and rock. Prior to making the move to Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes from 2007 to 2010. By the end of 2011, the Cleveland rapper was a household name following his transition from self-releasing his mixtapes, to working for reputed record labels. His career took off immediately, and all of his releases making it to the top 10 charts.
